Canadian Traditional, Self-Publishing & Hybrid Publishers

Just some of the Publishing Firms I’ve found so far, and most are Canadian based – the majority of which are listed members of the Canadian Publishers Association – however, some may have offices located in other countries. Finding the right method of publishing, or publisher, is like finding a needle in a haystack. Be aware! Not all traditional publishers are the same, and they all have their own methods and procedures for manuscript submissions. I personally, chose to publish with a ‘hybrid’ publisher – Book Baby – because I wanted the control, ownership, and rights to my work, but I also wanted the best royalties available, as well as a distribution channel that reached the world. I got all of that, in one easy to use control dashboard, where I can do anything and everything an author would want or need to do to publish, promote, market, sell, advertise and offer discounts or coupons. I wish you all the best on your journey.

Books To Films ~ Scripts & ScreenWriting

Books to Film is a very real dream of many authors.  Finding those who know the industry, following them and learning from them, adopting them as mentors, is the first step to bringing your dream to reality.  For me, this reality also consists of purchasing the software the big name scriptwriters and filmmakers use and teaching myself to bring my novels to scripts.  Multi-generational films/movies and their scripts can be found, and when you do find them, watch and read them through, because those are the keys to discovering why they have been popular and have become classics and successful for generations.  Many of these links below will either offer insight to the industry, further details, or allow the free download of the scripts and films – you should never have to pay for them if they are in the Public Domain, yet many websites charge varying prices.
