How on Earth does one offer a review to Stephen King? Let’s get out of this world for a moment and make my life a bit easier, shall we? Stephen King is not of this Earthly World, but a world of his own, encased in a dynasty of guts, gore, devils, demons, and horrors beyond rational imagination, and just outright terrifying, and that’s what we love about his books – he brings us with him, as we turn the pages – he keeps us glued to the tube, as actors play out the characters that he has written. The Gunslinger (The Dark Tower Series) is yet another classic work of the mastermind we all know as “The King”.
Who doesn’t know Hannibal – Anthony Hopkins best role. Anytime someone thinks of Hopkins they see Hannibal Lecter. Seriously demented, creepy beyond crawlies, eerie and spooky, even Jodie Foster admits she couldn’t talk to Hopkins while producing these films (including Silence of the Lambs). This kind of horror, this quality in writing and acting, is what draws me to my keyboard and forces me to demand silence as I write. I thank these people, for triggering my need for the written word – a need that drives me to starvation if I can’t write.

Paul Hollis ( @HollowManSeries ) has an imagination much like Dan Brown or Stephen King – broad in the world of action-packed crime amid the regions of sci-fi thrillers. I am honored to know him, thrilled to read his work and blessed to call him a friend. The Hollow Man is far beyond anything I could have imagined it to be, and I look forward to watching the film when it hits the big screen – congratulations Paul, on a job of pure perfection.
A wonderful human being, Paul Hollis accepted my friend request some time ago. His insight and wisdom in the book industry, has given me the tools to form a solid foundation of the commencement of my own career as an author. Thank you, Paul, for being my friend and mentor.
From the cruelty of society, this deprived and disfigured being hides in the towers and bells of the ancient city. Lost to all but a man of compassionate character and a woman in dire need of his help. The Hunchback is far more than a tale of a wretched soul. It is the lesson of love. Victor Hugo triumphs in his effort to bring this dishonor and injustice to the eyes of anyone willing to see, that life is a precious thing. Some have seen the truth of The Hunchback, but not all. Read the book – first.
