My rating: 5 of 5 stars

White Fang is as equal in story quality as Big Ben, Gentle Ben, The Bear and Black Beauty – a page turner indeed. The laws of nature, natural instinct, keep the reader interested and moving along as White Fang grows through time. As captivating as any animal narrative can be, and running full tilt along with Cujo, you’re bound to finish this book in its whole. A great read for any youngster and adult alike.

I must be upfront. I do not believe in aliens, life in outer space, monsters or dark creatures. They don’t scare me, but demons do. However, this book is based on aliens from outer space and their attack on Earth. A bit far-fetched, but all in all a well-written book and an interesting movie as well. I know my male families members enjoyed it, but for me, not so much and I had a trying time getting through it, both the book and the movie. If you like this genre, you’re sure to enjoy it.

A Walk To Remember by Nicholas Sparks

A Walk to RememberA Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Touching the heart with sensitivity and honesty, this story captures the basic faults of humans at any age. Getting around those faults, accepting the denial of the past, venturing to make change and living honestly by truth is a powerful thing. Nicolas Sparks wrote this story through a world of loss and pain as his own family suffered stressful heartache. A Walk To Remember, is definitely worth remembering.

There is no denying that the slavery horror existed, that supposed Christians took the African peoples from their homeland, destroying their lives, families, and homes. The African people suffered great hardship, and that hardship must be recognized before healing those gaping wounds can begin. Not all of the stories within this topic are true-life or based on any biography or autobiographies, but they are based on fact. The fact is, is that these horrors did happen, and in some parts of the world, still go on today. The color of our skin, regardless of which nation our heritage and ancestry come from, we are all of humankind, and we are all one large family.

“Honor thy neighbor, as ye honor they brother.” It is the only way to global peace and freedom for all. Hug someone today.
